How to Protect Coral Throw Pillows

Coral throw pillows are needed; you want to keep them year after year. The manufacturer normally treats his outdoor activities pillows with some kind of chemical to protect them from the elements, but there are things you can do to protect your pillows on a regular basis. With very little effort you can keep your outdoor pillows looking brand new even if you have kids playing food or drink on them regularly or teenagers lying on them to sunbathe every year

You need:

Use your water spray your coral throw pillow every weekend to rid them of unwanted food particles or yard debris. Clean dirty areas with a mild detergent, egg. Washing-up liquid. If your pad has a stain, apply a stain remover; be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Allow pillows to dry completely. If your pillows are not waterproof, cover them with plastic or store them indoors at night. Water repellent cushions withstand rain or snow, but put them on the edge to dry them faster. Add a towel over your outdoor pillows if you are tanning. Sunburn oil and creams have a tendency to color, and the next person sitting in the chair may not appreciate the oily feeling of sun oil. If your children accidentally spill something on your outdoor pillows, clean it up immediately to prevent it from discoloring.

Deep clean pillows once a year, just before storing them for the winter season. Use a solution of 1/8 cup bleach to 1 liter of water with one click of detergent in it. This will kill any mold that has been built up on your pillows. Leave this solution on your pillows for a full half hour, and rinse thoroughly with your hose. Allow your pillows to dry completely before storing.  Store outdoor pillows in an airy place without covering them with plastic. Plastic will cause moisture to accumulate on your pillows, causing mold and mildew to envelop them. Cover them with an old sheet or blanket to protect them from dust and other irritants. Put them in an outdoor shed that is safe from the elements, or store them in your house or garage.

Tips and warnings

Check the tag on the pillows so you can identify which material your pillow is made. It will usually give you the right care. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions. Preferably close screws and nail holes with pieces of bearings are made using plug cutter. Glue these in place before painting and painting them.
